Solovei Consulting, Inc. is owned and operated by Erika Solovei Carruth. Founded in 1998, it was designed to assist businesses in achieving excellence through improving internal systems and procedures and outsourcing business activities that are often associated with higher overhead and lower productivity.

Erika Carruth began her career in the early 90’s, working for a major events fundraising team, where growth was priority one, but funds were limited. For this reason, she was required to start from a bare basement in New York City, with four other people, and created a multi-million dollar fundraising event. Their success was partly a result of structuring internal systems and procedures that could handle fast-paced growth, while sustaining long-term efficiency.

Later, Erika relocated to San Francisco, where she built her experience in various areas of business management. Her understanding for Human Resources was attained by starting out in research and eventually as a team member of a Human Resources consulting firm. Services included Executive Searches, classification and compensation studies, employee training and screening.

As she progressed in her career, she received private training in accounting and software systems, while managing both the financial and administrative aspects of a Landscape Design Firm. Eventually she was recruited by larger companies, managing operations and finances.

During the e-commerce and “tech boom” of the late 90’s, Erika began receiving opportunities from various start-up companies to design, implement and manage internal systems. As the requests continued, she realized that although many business owners and leaders were learned and talented within their industries, they were lacking an understanding of the key office functions that support their work. From there, Solovei Consulting was born, servicing Northern California, and, in 2002, South Florida.

Since 2002, her primary focus has been on the management and development of non-profit organizations, while balancing corporate clients in the area of Executive Searches, Administrative Management, and other services.

Erika possesses a B.A. through her studies at Columbia University (N.Y.) and Skidmore College.
